Hydrate well before and after for best results and wear what you'd wear to the gym (sweat pants, leggings, shorts, T-shirt, tank tops). Clients will stay fully clothed during the appointment so they can move around and I can see what's happening in real time and adjust the treatment. NO JEANS, including dress jeans. While I can work through the fabric, the rivets are where my hands need to be and working around them can get complicated.
It's common for people to be workout sore the next day, but hydrating, moving, heat on the affected areas (NO ICE), and staying away from anti-inflammatories (UNLESS prescribed by a doctor) are ideal ways to recover well.
I can also be booked at Envision Physiotherapy:
672 Leg in Boot Square, Vancouver, BC V5Z 4B3
Please note: You cannot book in with me through the main reception, you need to contact me directly to make an appointment at this location.
